Will Smith turns in the performance of his career in this inspirational story of Richard Williams, father to future tennis superstars Venus and Serina. Richards unorthodox methods are met with derision (along with latent racism) from tennis professionals, and even when Venus is taken on by a top-level coach, his against the grain management decisions seem to be sabotaging their careers. Yet nearly every item he laid out in the 78-page plan he wrote before they were born came to fruition, with the sisters still dominating the game in their 40's.
